YAY you’re getting hitched! Let’s do it with heart, humour and love, creating an ever-lasting memory that truly reflects you. I delight in working with ALL couples including my beloved LGBTTQIA+ It’s a huge pleasure to work with people from my RAINBOW communities alongside you gorgeous STRAIGHT allies too! So, let’s have some fun and get this party started!… I also conduct REGISTRY ceremonies (I'm authorised by BDM), Elopement, Commitment, Renewal of Vows, and Engagement ceremonies. FUNERALS and MEMORIALS

I’m here for you with genuine empathy, compassion, clarity and focus, at this heart-breaking time. I feel that creating a meaningful ceremony that pays tribute to your loved one, and truly captures who they were in life, is a great privilege and immense honour.

I conduct services for ALL people, and am fully inclusive. Wonderful straight allies definitely do not miss out but as I'm a Queer person, it can be an extra comfort to have me as your Celebrant if you're dealing with the loss of someone who’s from one of our Rainbow communities, or if you yourself are LGBTTQIA+ and are organising the ceremony.

I’ve had close personal experience with the grieving of suicides, accidental deaths and terminal illnesses. These sad, life-changing events have given me a depth of insight that enables me to fully relate to many people from all walks of life.

Understandably, your difficult mourning period can be very over-whelming, as you try to grapple with raw pain alongside endless, practical decisions needing to be made, all at once. I’ll help take some of that burden by meeting with you to learn about the life of your loved one and what wishes they (and/or you) may have.

I’ll listen, and together we’ll discuss options and work out your preferences. I’ll hold and lead the service in a way that ensures people feel it’s a safe space to grieve, cry, and even laugh, and say their final farewell.

Let’s give your beloved the memorable send-off they deserve.

My attributes are: warmth, genuine, fun-loving, caring, creative, innovative, inclusive and professional. I service the entire Wellington, Kapiti, Wairarapa region and I’M HAPPY TO TRAVEL THROUGHOUT AOTEAROA :-)

PET FAREWELLS

Our lives are deeply enriched by our pet’s companionship and unconditional love, so understandably, when we lose a beloved fur, bird, aquatic or reptilian baby, our grief is felt as keenly as it is with human loss. They are our whānau , our family, our daughter or son. Sometimes our pet is the only true being we’re close to. A Pet Farewell ceremony gives you and others who loved your pet, opportunity to acknowledge their life and share grief, and say a proper goodbye.

TRANSITION and GENDER IDENTITY CEREMONIES

Gather your loved ones and supporters and celebrate who you truly are! Often navigating this journey has meant having to deal with considerable societal, health and/or emotional upheaval. Despite these challenges, you have prevailed and now you have arrived, YAY! Let’s mark this magnificent milestone with a bespoke ceremony that honours you and acknowledges those who’ve been there by your side, along the way. Followed by cake…there’s always gotta be cake…

CONSULTATION SERVICE FOR FUNERALS OR MEMORIALS

If you want to conduct the funeral/memorial ceremony yourself (or have a relative/friend who is doing it) I can support you with the lead-up process by providing a structure/framework you can use as a base, so you can then confidently devise the ceremony. This practical approach can really help keep things on track and reduce a bit of the stress, especially where there may be differing opinions or uncertainty around what to include.
